We went on a bug hunt! :)

Frank Long Elementary has a wonderful nature trail to walk through. As a part of our "Bugs" unit, we decided to take a nature walk through the trail in search of bugs! We went with Mrs. Spurlin's class and the kids had a great time observing bugs in their natural envrionment:) We saw dragonflies, spiders, ants, bees, butterflies, etc. We even saw a mother spider carrying her eggs! Enjoy the pictures!

Lots of Grass! :)

When we visited the outdoor classroom, we planted grass seeds. We put our cups at the window and waited and waited for the grass seeds to grow! We made sure to water the seeds everyday in order to keep the soil wet. On Monday, we came in and discovered that our grass had sprouted over the weekend. We were so excited!

*Kindergarten Showcase*

The kids did such a wonderful job singing in the kindergarten showcase:) Five students from our class came out to participate. They all looked so beautiful/handsome! They did such a wonderful job with the singing and hand motions. Parents, thank you for coming! :) Here are some pictures. Enjoy :)
Blake said "I dressed like this so I could look just like Mr. Carrier:)" I had to get a picture of him with his wonderful role model!
